Eco-friendly equipment for an eco-friendly garden – ENHULK Cordless Tools

Recently, I had the opportunity to test out a battery-powered weed eater and weed blower on my property. Having used a battery blower in the past that was cordless, I was very skeptical about using this one because my experience was not good. With low power and short life, I was always frustrated and went back to using a gas blower.

But once I tried the ENHULK Leaf Blower and the ENHULK string trimmer, I got hooked. Tired of mixing two-stroke gas and oil, gas equipment spews fumes and makes noise. In fact, some areas of the country now prohibit the use of gas-powered equipment. The wireless equipment I tested was not noise-free, but it was significantly quieter and lasted much longer than I had ever imagined. Working in the landscaping business, I need reliable, heavy-duty equipment that is eco-friendly but with gas-like power. Some of my clients ask me to use gasless equipment to adapt to their native and sustainable garden landscapes. When tending to my two-acre property, I wanted something efficient and with long-lasting power.

ENHULK 58V 16″ String Trimmer

ENHULK String Trimmer

Cutting grass is one of my most hated jobs. Noisy, difficult to use and heavy, string trimmers are a necessary evil for a well-maintained garden.

When using the weed trimmer, I was surprised at how light it weighed compared to similar gasoline-powered ones. The shaft, which is made of carbon fiber, considerably reduces the weight of the brush cutter. I find it difficult to weed for long periods of time because of the strain on my small body. Having a similar LED display as the blower for the battery and the mode it is working in, the 16″ cutting path was more than enough to mow and trim some bushes. There are three cutting modes available and an easy-to-use variable speed control. The battery capacity was easily as good as the blower and it was a pleasure to use.

Using the ENHULK string trimmer to edge my garden beds

I used the weed whacker to edge my gardens and also to knock down some thin shoots that were appearing in the garden that were tougher than grass but cut easily. The variable speed available allows you to control your RPM for various thicknesses of grass and weeds, so you can extend your working time. Both teams will travel with me to different job sites. The foldable shaft makes the string trimmer portable and easy to store and carry.

When using a string trimmer, remember to wear protective gear: long pants and eye protection, as the trimmer can throw up debris.

ENHULK Blower

Having used backpack and portable gasoline blowers, I was impressed with the variable speed control and lighter weight of this blower – high power in a small package. The variable speed control will allow you to run the blower for 120 minutes on low, 20 minutes on high, and 15 minutes on turbo, according to the instructions that come with it. ENHULK claims up to 930 CFM air volume in turbo mode, almost double that of my comparable gas-powered hand blower.

With no starter cord to pull and no frustration when the blower won’t start due to engine flooding or trying to start an engine that hasn’t been used in a year, this is a keeper for me. A turbo function on the blower creates as much power as my portable gas blower and I ran it for 30 minutes at various speeds and it was still running strong. I really like the cruise control feature, which is operated with the push of a button to reach the speed you want to use.

For me, a tech-challenged person, both sets were very easy to put together and the 58V lithium-ion battery powered up quickly on the provided charger in about 30 minutes. Blow nozzles come in various sizes to increase the volume and speed of air and the width of the area you blow. An easy-to-read LED control panel shows which mode you’re working in and the battery status, in one simple display, so you can monitor battery capacity. I like simple and it checked all the boxes for me.

The ENHULK blower

Blowing some leaves from a garden bed was very easy and I used it to clear a patio and path of windblown debris, which was easily accomplished. I’ve used it for short jobs for almost a week and the battery is still going strong.

Both devices have a 4-year warranty and a 2-year battery warranty. In the future, after using them off and on for more than a week, I will use both machines around my house and on different yard jobs.
